- In a medium bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated and the chia seeds are evenly distributed.
- Gently fold the mixed berries into the oat mixture. Reserve a small handful of berries for topping the jars before serving.
- In a small separate bowl, mix almond butter with 2 tablespoons of almond milk. Stir until the mixture reaches a smooth, pourable consistency. Add additional almond milk in small increments if the mixture remains too thick.
- Divide half of the oat mixture between two mason jars or serving bowls. Drizzle each with half of the prepared almond butter mixture. Top with the remaining oat mixture and finish with another drizzle of almond butter.
- Cover the jars or bowls tightly with lids. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the oats and chia seeds to fully absorb the liquid and soften to a creamy consistency.
- Before serving, stir the oats thoroughly to combine all layers or leave as-is for a layered presentation. Top with reserved berries, sliced almonds, and an additional drizzle of maple syrup or honey if desired. Serve chilled.
