Greek Yogurt Parfait (Printable version)

Layered Greek yogurt with berries and granola. Quick, refreshing, and perfect any time of day.

# What you need:

→ Dairy

01 - 2 cups plain Greek yogurt

→ Fruit

02 - 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

→ Sweeteners

03 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

→ Grains

04 - 1 cup granola

→ Optional Toppings

05 - 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
06 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
07 - Zest of 1 lemon

# How to make it:

01 - Rinse all berries under cold water and gently pat dry with paper towels. Hull and slice strawberries if using, leaving smaller berries whole.
02 - Place four clear parfait glasses or jars on a flat surface. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt into the bottom of each glass, spreading evenly.
03 - Drizzle approximately 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup over the yogurt layer in each glass.
04 - Distribute the mixed berries evenly among all four glasses, adding a generous handful to each parfait.
05 - Sprinkle 2 to 3 tablespoons of granola over the berry layer in each glass, creating an even coating.
06 - Continue building the parfaits by repeating layers of yogurt, sweetener, berries, and granola until glasses are filled to just below the rim.
07 - Crown each parfait with a final sprinkle of granola, chopped nuts, chia seeds, and fresh lemon zest for added flavor and visual appeal.
08 - Serve immediately to preserve granola crunchiness, or refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes for a creamier, softened texture.

# Expert tips:

01 -
  • It feels like a spa day on a plate without any actual effort required.
  • The contrast between creamy yogurt and crunchy granola hits every texture craving at once.
02 -
  • Wet berries will make your granola soggy within minutes, so dry them thoroughly.
  • Chilled yogurt holds its layers better than yogurt straight from a warm grocery bag.
03 -
  • Use a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off for perfectly clean yogurt layers every time.
  • Save your prettiest berries for the top layer where they can really shine.
